Then download the xinput driver from this video and extract it to a folder. Basically, you're uninstalling the monthly roll-ups and/or monthly preview roll-ups." So until Microsoft fixes this, and/or depending on when you uncover this message thread, there may be other updates you will need to uninstall first. Then you will see and can uninstall KB4284842, and finally KB4284826. Note: as of 7/12/18, you may also need to first uninstall KB4338818. I have been plagued by this for awhile, but alas my friend, i found a solution! This thread seems dead, but I have the same problem.
